Brooklyn and Sam are the sweetest, most laid back and kind-hearted couple and their wedding was definitely a reflection of that. The day was full of connecting with their loved ones and doing what felt most true to them in the most elegant setting. It was such a close-knit and emotional wedding.

Brooklyn and Sam were married in front of the stunning water fountain at the Lune 1860 in Goderich, ON. Brooklyn actually walked down the aisle twice! She wanted to walk down the aisle with both of her parents as they both played an essential role in her life and the person she is today. She walked out of the Lune holding her mom’s hand and then after hugging her mom she turned around and walked back down the aisle and linked arms with her Dad.

Brooklyn: “We didn't do a traditional sit-down meal. Instead, we did an extended cocktail hour with drinks, cheese boards, shawarma and tacos! We wanted to enjoy food and continue eating throughout the night.”

The tacos and shawarma were delicious! I really loved this idea and it was perfect for a wedding.

We jumped into lots of heartfelt speeches and this was definitely a highlight for me. One of my favourite moments of the day was capturing everyone’s reactions to the video and audio recordings of loved ones who could not attend the wedding due to COVID-19. Witnessing the happy tears that filled the room was a genuine joy.

Brooklyn and Sam started off their marriage dancing to an incredible rendition of “1000 Highways” by SonReal by Matthew Hussey, their live musician.
