A Beautiful Backyard Wingham Wedding | Cassandra and James

As a wedding photographer, there are some weddings that just stand out, and Cassandra and James' backyard wedding in Wingham was definitely one of those unforgettable days. Held at Cassandra's grandparents' property, this wedding was filled with personal touches, family history, and pure joy. Here's a little glimpse into their beautiful celebration.

Cassandra and James have a story that feels like it belongs in a movie. When they first started dating, James mentioned he wouldn't propose until they had lived together for at least a year. But as fate would have it, their connection was undeniable. Shortly after moving into their home, Cassandra playfully asked, "You aren't going to make me wait for a whole year, are you?" Little did she know, James had already bought the ring.

Fast forward to the 364th day in their home, James cleverly orchestrated the perfect proposal. Claiming he needed help with the dog, he called Cassandra over. As she rounded the corner, there he was, down on one knee with the ring. Cassandra, almost too cozy on the couch to move, was taken by complete surprise. She said yes, of course, and the rest is history.

Choosing Cassandra's grandparents' property for their wedding was more than just a beautiful backdrop; it was a place filled with memories. They exchanged vows under the same tree where Cassandra's parents and aunt and uncle (where she was a flower girl) had their wedding photos taken, making it a full-circle moment.

The ceremony was lively and filled with love. One of the standout moments was when the confetti cannons went off as Cassandra and James walked down the aisle. Guests were showered in white confetti, adding an extra layer of celebration to the already joyous occasion.

After an evening of laughter and heartfelt toasts, the couple surprised their guests with a special treat - the Beaver Tails food truck. It was the perfect end to a perfect day, providing delicious snacks and a fun, casual vibe for everyone to enjoy.

Photographing Cassandra and James' wedding was an absolute pleasure. Their love for each other, their families, and their friends was evident in every detail.
