Nestled in the heart of Simcoe, Ashley and Gerad's wedding was nothing short of a dream come true. The day began at Gerad's parents' beautiful beach property, where Ashley and her bridesmaids were getting ready. As I arrived, the girls were in the middle of practicing their entrance dance for the reception, filling the air with laughter and excitement. The camaraderie and joy in the room were palpable, setting a lighthearted and fun tone for the day ahead. Before heading to the ceremony, Ashley had a few heartfelt first looks that tugged at everyone's heartstrings, starting with her grandmother, then her bridesmaids, and finally her dad. Each moment was filled with tears, cheers, and an outpouring of love and support, making them truly unforgettable.

We then headed over to the family property for Ashley and Gerad’s first look, a private moment that was simply magical. The look of pure love and happiness on their faces when they saw each other was unforgettable. The ceremony itself was held on the beautifully manicured grounds of the family property, with nature providing a serene and picturesque backdrop. Ashley and Gerad exchanged their vows surrounded by family and friends, each word resonating with sincerity and love. The atmosphere was intimate and personal, reflecting the deep connection between the couple and their loved ones.

Following the ceremony, guests were treated to a delightful cocktail hour, split between a shed adorned with lots of signs and funky decor, and a custom wood bar that added a rustic charm. Outside, a charcuterie bar was creatively set up on the back of one of the family business's trucks, blending practicality with whimsy. Ashley and Gerad, being dog lovers, included their beloved pups, Jet and Lola, in the celebration, adding an extra layer of warmth and joy to the day. Their love for dogs is so profound that they even spent a day of their honeymoon in Hawaii giving love and care to a dog in need, one of the sweetest honeymoon activities I’ve ever heard of.

The wedding party was full of energy, which made for an unforgettable dance floor experience. There was lots of partying, laughter, and joyous moments that I was thrilled to capture. The lively atmosphere, filled with dancing and heartfelt toasts, made the evening a true celebration of love and happiness. Being part of Ashley and Gerad's wedding was an absolute honor, and every moment of their special day was a photographer's dream.
