Hi, I’m Melissa!

Melissa Pushelberg Photography was incredible to work with. I have had the pleasure of working with her for my sister and friends weddings over the past few years, so when it was my turn I knew she was the one to reach out to. From our engagement session to our wedding day, she was organized, easy to communicate with, fun to work with, flexible and knowledgeable. She always considered myself and my partner's visions and made them come to life using her expertise. Melissa is easygoing and comes with several great ideas. We challenged her to include not only our little loved ones but our two dogs as well and she captured amazing shots of both groups that we are so lucky to have. It is really difficult to encapsulate what an amazing photographer and person Melissa is. Hiring Melissa was one of the first things we did when we started planning our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made. Melissa did both our engagement and wedding photos, and my husband and I know that we will never hesitate to hire her for many life milestones down the road. Melissa made my husband and I feel incredibly confident and comfortable in front of the camera, she gave direction when needed, noticed all the small details (phone in the pocket, awkward hand positions, loose hair etc.) and continually attempted to make us laugh so that she could capture those candid moments. Melissa made us feel loved, supported and taken care of. In addition, Melissa is perfectly organized and an excellent communicator, she worked with us months before the wedding to work out our event/time schedule and the photo schedule to make sure she had time and windows of opportunity to get all the images we wanted.

It rained all day on our wedding day which threw a big wrench in the plans, but Melissa didn't seem phased at all. She rolled with it and was able to produce some amazing indoor shots (and she kept an eye on the rain so we could sneak outside when the rain paused). I thought we would have to skew from that plan, but Melissa made sure that everything we had wanted still took place. I was amazed by her determination and poise throughout the day - it really helped me be so much calmer too.
